State Minister for Youth and Sports Congratulates Bangladesh Cricket Team on Historic ODI Series Victory Over Australia

The State Minister for Youth and Sports has extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the players, coaching staff, management, and all those associated with the Bangladesh National Cricket Team following their impressive five-wicket victory in the second ODI against Australia and the country’s first-ever ODI series win against the Australians.

In a congratulatory message, the State Minister said, “This historic series victory against a world-class team like Australia is a matter of immense pride and joy for the entire nation. Despite rain interruptions and various challenges, the fighting spirit and team unity displayed by our cricketers were truly commendable.”

Praising the players’ performances, he noted that the pace and aggression of Taskin Ahmed, along with the disciplined bowling of Mustafizur Rahman, helped put Australia under pressure early in the match. Their three wickets each laid a strong foundation for Bangladesh’s victory.
