The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has responded positively to the Bangladesh Cricket Board’s (BCB) proposal, confirming that the Pakistan team will tour Bangladesh in July. The PCB has given preliminary approval for the tour, which will take place later this year.
Both Bangladesh and Pakistan have been eliminated from the Champions Trophy following consecutive losses. As per the Future Tours Programme (FTP), Bangladesh is scheduled to visit Pakistan in late May for a white-ball series. During this tour, Bangladesh will play three ODIs and three T20Is against the host nation. This tour is part of the ICC's Future Tours Programme.
Post-Pakistan Tour: Another Series with Pakistan in Bangladesh
After the tour of Pakistan, Bangladesh is expected to play another series with Pakistan. In an agreement outside the FTP, Pakistan has consented to visit Bangladesh in July-August to play a series consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is. Both the BCB and PCB have had discussions regarding this series and both boards are currently optimistic about the arrangement.
