Bangladesh's star cricketer Mustafizur Rahman has become a father for the first time. A baby boy has arrived to brighten the home of Mustafiz and his wife, Samia Parveen Shimu. Mustafiz shared the happy news on social media through a post on Facebook.
On his verified Facebook page, the left-arm pacer expressed his joy, saying, "Alhamdulillah! By the immense grace of Allah, we have been blessed with a baby boy today. Both the baby and the mother are doing well. Please keep them in your prayers."
Since his debut in 2015, Mustafiz has played 15 Tests, 107 One-Day Internationals, and 106 T20Is, taking a total of 335 wickets in 228 international matches.
Mustafiz is currently not part of the ongoing West Indies tour as he took leave from the series to be with his pregnant wife.
