Mahedi Hasan Added as Bangladesh Announce Squad for 3rd ODI Against Australia
Off-spinner Sheikh Mahedi Hasan has been included in Bangladesh’s squad for the third and final ODI against Australia, announced by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The match will be held tomorrow at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The hosts have already secured the series, winning the first two matches.
The 31-year-old Mahedi Hasan has played 11 ODIs for Bangladesh so far. His last appearance came against the same opposition during the ICC Cricket World Cup held in India in November 2023.
Meanwhile, ODI captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz is in good health. However, his participation in the third match will be confirmed after further assessment tomorrow, the BCB said.
