Injury Blow Ahead of Sri Lanka Tour, Concerns Grow Over Bumrah and Sundar
Even before the on-field battle begins, the Indian cricket team has been dealt a major setback. Just ahead of their tour of Sri Lanka, injuries have struck the national camp, leaving the team management increasingly concerned. The fitness of premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Washington Sundar has become the biggest worry for millions of Indian fans.
Reports suggest that both Bumrah and Sundar are currently undergoing rehabilitation and working hard off the field in a bid to regain full fitness as quickly as possible.
For now, India’s medical team is closely monitoring the progress of both players. However, only time will tell how soon they can recover from their injuries and return to action.
India’s tour of Sri Lanka is scheduled for August, where they will play a two-match Test series. The first Test will be held in Galle on August 15, while the second will begin in Colombo on August 23.
