Ebadot Hossain has finally returned to the field
Bangladesh pacer Ebadot Hossain has finally returned to the field after a long absence due to injury. A knee injury kept him sidelined for nearly 16 months, causing him to miss several key international matches, including the ODI and T20 World Cups. Now, Ebadot has made his comeback through the National Cricket League (NCL), playing for Sylhet Division.
Ebadot expressed his excitement about his return. In a Facebook post, he thanked his family, friends, and the BCB's physiotherapists and trainers, who helped him through his rehabilitation process. He wrote, “After 16 months, I am, Inshallah, resuming my cricket journey tomorrow.” He also requested everyone to keep him in their prayers.
Sylhet Division currently tops the NCL points table with two wins and one draw in three matches. Ebadot has taken the field for Sylhet in a four-day match against Khulna Division in Cox’s Bazar, with Sylhet opting to bat first. This opportunity allows Ebadot to rebuild his confidence and prepare for future matches as he works to regain his form.
