BPL 2025: Durbar Rajshahi's Match Schedule

Durbar Rajshahi has put together what is considered the weakest squad for this year's Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The team will start their campaign on December 30, facing the defending champions, Fortune Barishal, in the opening match of the tournament. Following that, they will meet another new team, Dhaka Capitals, in their second match.

The BPL 2025 will begin on December 30 and end on February 7. Durbar Rajshahi will play their initial three matches in Dhaka, followed by three matches in Sylhet. They will then head to Chattogram to play four matches in the iconic Sagarika Stadium. The team will conclude the league phase with their last two matches in Mirpur, Dhaka.

As a new franchise, Durbar Rajshahi has only 12 players picked from the player draft, with one direct signing—opener Anamul Haque Bijoy. Among the draft picks, the major highlight is pacer Taskin Ahmed.

Currently, the squad consists of several young and experienced players, including under-19 World Cup-winning captain Akbar Ali and aggressive young batter Jishan Alam. Other notable players include Yasir Ali Rabbi, Shafiul Islam, and Sanjamul Islam.
