Bangladesh Announce Squad for First Two ODIs Against Australia, Mosaddek and Sohan Return
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the first two matches of the upcoming ODI series against Australia. The three-match series will begin on June 9 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz will lead the side. Batsmen Afif Hossain and Mahidul Islam Bhuiyan, who were part of Bangladesh’s most recent ODI squad against New Zealand in April, have been left out.
All-rounder Mosaddek Hossain Saikat has returned to the national team after four years. The 30-year-old last played an ODI in August 2022. Wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan Sohan has also returned after missing the New Zealand series.
The three-match ODI series against Australia will be played on June 9, 11 and 14. All matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur and will begin at 11:00 AM local time.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz (Captain), Soumya Sarkar, Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Towhid Hridoy, Litton Kumar Das, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Rishad Hossain, Tanvir Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana.
