2025 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) fixture Announced

The wait is almost over for the 2025 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), the biggest domestic cricket tournament in the country. The schedule for this year's BPL was released today by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). The opening match will be played on December 30, between the defending champions, Fortune Barishal, and the new team, Durbar Rajshahi. A total of 46 matches, including the final, will be played in this season of BPL. A reserve day has been set aside for both the playoff and final matches.

The BPL will kick off on December 30 and conclude on February 7. During this period, 46 matches will be played across three venues in the country. The Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium will host the maximum number of matches—22 in total. Sylhet and Chattogram will each host 12 matches.

Day matches will start at 1:30 PM, and Friday matches will begin 30 minutes later at 2:00 PM. Night matches will start at 6:30 PM.

This year’s BPL will be divided into four phases. The first phase will take place at the home of cricket in Mirpur, where 8 matches will be played. The tournament will then move to Sylhet, where 12 matches will be held from January 6 to January 13. After the Sylhet leg, the BPL will head to the port city of Chattogram, where 12 more matches will be played at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.

After the Sylhet and Chattogram phases, the second leg will return to Dhaka on January 26. The remaining 10 league matches and the playoff games will be held at Mirpur, meaning a total of 22 matches will be played at this venue until the final.
