Suryakumar doesn't face Bumrah in net

Suryakumar Yadav has returned to the cricket field once again. Though he didn't score runs in the first match, he played a natural innings in the second match. In Mumbai Indians' chase, he held the bat and scored 52 runs off 19 balls. On the other hand, Jasprit Bumrah bowled exceptionally well. He single-handedly took 5 wickets against the opposition, spending only 21 runs in 4 overs. Suryakumar Yadav mentioned that Bumrah doesn't play nets against him, as it poses a danger.

Royal Challengers Bangalore set a target of 197 runs. Mumbai will try to surpass this target on their home ground. However, how dangerous it will be, who knows! The team has displayed a confident batting performance. They reach the victory mark in just 4.3 overs.

On a victorious day like this, Suryakumar Yadav has smiled with the bat, while Bumrah has also shown Mumbai's hopes with his excellent bowling. After the match, Suryakumar revealed a personal incident about Bumrah, saying, "It's been about 2-3 years since I've faced Bumrah in the nets. Because he either breaks my bat or injures my foot."

Bumrah's 5-wicket haul has placed him at the top of the wicket-takers' list in the current IPL. He is tied with Rajasthan Royals' leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal. Suryakumar expressed his satisfaction, "It always feels good to return to Wankhede. I was mentally here when the tournament started, although physically I was in Bengaluru (during the return process)."

After losing three consecutive matches, Mumbai has seen victories in the last two matches. The team is signaling a comeback. On the other hand, Bengaluru's luck doesn't seem to be favoring them.
