Sri Lanka confirm their playing XI for the third Test against England
Sri Lanka has confirmed their XI for the third Test against England at The Oval. Nishan Madushka and Prabath Jayasuriya have been dropped from the previous Test's XI, with Kusal Mendis and Vishwa Fernando replacing them.
Two days ago, England Cricket announced their best XI for the final Test of the series. A day later, Sri Lanka followed suit by confirming their playing eleven.
After losing the first two matches and securing the series defeat, Sri Lanka's XI has seen two changes. Kusal Mendis and Vishwa Fernando have been brought in, replacing Nishan Madushka and Prabath Jayasuriya.
On the other hand, the 6-foot-7 left-arm pace bowler Josh Hall will make his debut for England in this Test. He has replaced Matthew Potts in the XI for the final Test against Sri Lanka at The Oval.
The series will conclude with the third Test at The Oval on September 6. England has already secured the series by winning the first two Tests. Ollie Pope's team will face Sri Lanka in the final match at The Oval next Friday.

Dimuth Karunaratne, Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (Wicketkeeper), Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya de Silva (Captain), Kamindu Mendis, Asitha Fernando, Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Kumara, Milan Rathnayake.
England's XI for the Third Test:
Ben Duckett, Dan Lawrence, Ollie Pope (Captain), Joe Root, Harry Brook (Vice-Captain), Jamie Smith (Wicketkeeper), Chris Woakes, Gus Atkinson, Josh Hall, Ollie Stone, Shoaib Bashir.
