Bangladesh Faces Must-Win Challenge Against India in Second T20
Bangladesh suffered a 7-wicket defeat to India in the first T20 match of the series in Gwalior. Today, the Tigers are faced with the challenge of saving the series as they meet again in Delhi, where victory is essential.
Having won the toss, Bangladesh’s captain Najmul Hossain Shanto opted to bowl first, sending India to bat. Despite the loss in the opening match, Bangladesh has an opportunity to bounce back. The second T20 match is set to take place on October 9 at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, and the team must win to avoid the embarrassment of a series loss in both Tests and T20s.
Bangladesh’s record against India in T20s is not favorable, having lost 14 out of 15 encounters. However, the Tigers' only victory came in Delhi, which could serve as a source of inspiration. The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM Bangladesh time.
