Chittagong Kings Await a Great Start in This BPL Season

Chittagong Kings are poised for a fantastic start this season, having assembled a squad of top domestic and international stars. They have signed Bangladesh's biggest cricketing star, Shakib Al Hasan, through a direct contract. Among the foreign players, the prominent name is Moeen Ali. Additionally, they have strengthened their squad further through the players' draft.

Returning to the BPL after almost a decade, Chittagong Kings have made a splash by signing one star player after another through direct contracts. They have also enhanced their squad during the draft. To lead the team with stars like Shakib and Moeen, they have appointed Australia's Shaun Tait as head coach.

The franchise made headlines by signing Shakib Al Hasan directly upon their return to the BPL, alongside Moeen Ali, Angelo Mathews, and Usman Khan among several other foreign players. Chittagong Kings have brought in former Pakistani star Shahid Afridi as their brand ambassador for the BPL.

Apart from Shakib, local stars include national team player Shariful Islam, aggressive batsman Parvez Hossain Emon, and Shamim Hossain Patowary. They have also signed young pacer Maruf Mridha, spinner Alis Al Islam, experienced wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Mithun, and Naim Islam from the players' draft.
