White House Sends Congratulations to the USA Cricket Team

The United States of America (USA), traditionally known as a baseball country, has not only hosted the Cricket World Cup but also surprised the world by securing a spot in the Super Eight. Despite cricket's lower popularity in the U.S., the team has made significant strides. The players, mostly with roots in India and Pakistan, have stunned the world by advancing to the Super Eight, surpassing even Pakistan in the group stage.

As the second team from Group 'A' to secure a spot in the Super Eight, the U.S. cricket team has garnered praise worldwide. Even high-ranking officials in the U.S. have commended their achievement. White House National Security Council Spokesman John Kirby has extended his congratulations to the USA cricket team.

On Tuesday, a video was posted on social media platform Twitter, showing John Kirby congratulating the U.S. cricket team. He said, "Congratulations to them. I have seen that we are now in the Super Eight."

Kirby further encouraged the U.S. cricket team, stating, "We all congratulate them on this success. It’s remarkable. We have all been cheering for them."

Thank you @WhiteHouse National Security Communications Adviser John Kirby for your kind words. We’ll be sure to use your encouragement as motivation for our upcoming matches in the West Indies! 💪#WeAreUSACricket 🇺🇸
