Towhid Hridoy, Jaker Ali helped Bangladesh to post a good total

In the ongoing series against Zimbabwe, Bangladesh's top order seems to be struggling without the innings of Tanzid Hasan Tamim in the 1st match. In the first and second matches, while Towhid Hridoy remained unbeaten with scores of 33* and 37*.

Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan Tamim couldn't perform well in the T20 mood, and skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto didn't capitalize on opportunities at the crease. Then, Towhid Hridoy took the initiative to fight alongside Jaker Ali Anik.

Jakir Ali Anik was out after scoring 44 runs off 34 balls with an equal number of boundaries. In the same over, Blessing Muzarabani took two wickets, being the most successful bowler for Zimbabwe. He took 3 wickets conceding 14 runs in 4 overs. Faraz Akram and Sikandar Raza also took a wicket each.

Mahmudullah Riyad scored 9 runs off 4 balls, and Rishad Hossain scored 6 runs off 4 balls before being unbeaten. Bangladesh's innings ended at 165 for 5 wickets in 20 overs.
