Bangladesh has secured victories in all three matches against Zimbabwe in Chattogram. Towhid Hridoy has been the standout batter in all three matches. In the first match, he scored an unbeaten 33 off 18 balls, followed by 37* off 25 balls in the second match, and 57 off 38 balls in the third. He also received the Player of the Match award in the last two matches.
Hridoy's innings of 57 runs is his best in international T20 cricket. His achievements were also acknowledged during a press conference.
The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) has been fruitful for him, he scored runs quickly in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL). He is now scoring runs for the national team. Hridoy expresses his satisfaction when he scores runs, emphasizing his commitment to contributing to the team, whether through batting or fielding.
Currently batting at number four, Hridoy isn't sure about when he will have to bat, but he attempts to perform regardless of when he comes to bat. He cites the example of his partnership with Jeker Ali-Anik, where they amassed 87 runs together.
Hridoy remarks, "I can adapt my batting according to the match's demand. I can bat in the powerplay, after the 15th or even in the first over. I adjust my batting based on the match's requirements. Today, we lost two quick wickets, and it was necessary to stabilize the innings. I partnered with Jeker bhai. We aimed to score as many runs as possible."
