Suryakumar Yadav Returns, Will Mumbai's Fortune Change?

Indian cricket star Suryakumar Yadav is quickly rejoining the Mumbai Indians camp. The Mumbai star has received a green signal from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) to join the team on Friday.

Yadav is currently the top batter in the T20 rankings. In December 2023, he played his latest competitive cricket match. He played a memorable innings against South Africa in that match. It was in that series where he got injured, thus landing him in Grade 2 of the injury tear.

Apart from his sports hernia treatment, Suryakumar Yadav's return to cricket was delayed. He was undergoing rehabilitation at the NCA in Bangalore.

Before the next match against Delhi Capitals, Yadav will prepare with the team at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Indians will make the final decision after monitoring his fitness during the net sessions.

Mumbai Indians haven't had a great start to this season. Under the new captaincy of Hardik Pandya, they have lost all three matches so far. Suryakumar Yadav's return will be crucial in changing the fortunes of the team.
