PCB announces free entry for students for second Test
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that students will be allowed free entry to the stadium for the second Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan. The match will be held in Rawalpindi from August 30 to September 3.
To gain free entry to the stadium, students must be in their uniforms and carry their educational institution ID cards. They will be able to watch the game from any VIP enclosures. However, the free entry policy does not apply to the PCB Gallery or Platinum Boxes.
This decision has been made to encourage students to watch the exciting game of cricket. Previously, the PCB had announced free entry for spectators on the fourth and fifth days of the first Test match at the same venue.
In addition to free entry to the ground for the second Test, a free shuttle bus service will be available on match days to facilitate access to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Route 1 will operate from Aviation Ground, Rawal Road, and Muri Road to the Allama Iqbal Park entrance gate. Route 2 will run from Government Satellite Town College for Boys, 6th Road, Muri Road to the Allama Iqbal Park entrance gate.
Bangladesh leads the series 1-0 after defeating the hosts by 10 wickets in the first Test against Pakistan.
