Neo Cricket Club Holds Grand Annual Awards Ceremony

Neo Cricket Club successfully hosted its Annual Awards Ceremony for the 2025 season in a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Around 75 players, volunteers, and supporters attended the event, making it lively and celebratory.

Throughout the summer season, the club actively competed in various league competitions every weekend with seven adult teams. In addition, four junior teams—Under-15, Under-11, Under-9, and an indoor squad—regularly participated in training sessions and tournaments, playing a significant role in developing the next generation of cricketers. The club’s grassroots development initiatives have received widespread appreciation.

During the awards segment, distinguished guests presented trophies to the season’s top performers. Outstanding players were honored with awards for Best Batter, Best Bowler, and Best All-Rounder. Among those in attendance were Shahidul Islam Ratan, Chief Executive of Capital Kids Cricket; Sajid Patel, one of the founders of the National Cricket League; Councillor Syed Firoz Gani of Barking and Dagenham; Arfan Akram, Development Officer at Essex Cricket; Ven Kompella, Secretary of the Essex & East London Cricket League; Saeed Islam, Chairman of Roding Valley Cricket Club; and Councillor Kevin Limbaji of Lytton Grove Green Ward.

The club also expressed sincere gratitude to its season sponsors for their valuable support, including Asim Dutta, Director of Global Banking School; Robertson & Ravani Solicitors; Black Horse Estate; and Heart Claims Accident Management Company.

Speaking at the event, Club Chairman Ayaz Karim said, “Neo Cricket Club is not just an organization; it is a family. Today’s achievements are the result of the collective dedication of our players, volunteers, and supporters.”
Club Secretary Mahbub Uz Zaman added, “Our vision goes even higher. With everyone’s support and cooperation, we are committed to taking Neo Cricket Club to new heights.”
