After bidding farewell in the World Cup selection round, everyone seemed rather silent, which is quite normal. However, a glimmer of hope was heard from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). There's an emphasis on strengthening women's cricket under-16. Amidst everything, everyone seems to be eagerly anticipating the Premier League.

The boys' Premier League is set to begin next Wednesday. However, the women's Premier League is yet to see any team changes. BCB's Women's Committee is preparing to organize the tournament. The only lacking aspect is the ground. Once assurances are secured, team changes will commence. Work is underway for the Home of Cricket.

On the other hand, BCB's youth pitches are bustling with activities. Cox's Bazar will host the BCB League for the youth. However, somehow women's cricket leagues are not finding a place amidst all this. Grounds managers are only providing assurances regarding women's cricket.

The Chairperson of Women's Wing, M. A. Awal Chowdhury, is also feeling helpless at times. Despite all this, the president is considering alternative options. Even after all this, the girls are managing their time to keep fit. No matter how hard they try to stay fit, if cricket isn't played on the field, women's cricket will suffer, regardless of the gyms.
