Mark Chapman's heroic guided New Zealand to victory over Pakistan

In the third match of the series, New Zealand has secured victory against Pakistan. After conceding 178 runs, losing 4 wickets in the designated 20 overs while batting first in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Responding with the bat, New Zealand ensured victory, holding 7 wickets in hand by the 18.2nd over. With this win, the series now stands at 1-1.

Despite a promising start by New Zealand's openers, they lost control soon after. After Seifert's 21 runs, the next over saw Robinson's departure at 28 runs for Kiwis.

By dismissing both New Zealand openers consecutively, Pakistan gained some control over New Zealand's innings. However, Mark Chapman's efforts proved costly for Pakistan. He partnered with Devon Conway towards victory.

This partnership primarily altered the course of New Zealand's entire match, where Chapman's undefeated innings of 87 runs off 42 balls included 9 fours and 4 sixes. Earlier, Faheem Ashraf and Shadab Khan took the reins for Pakistan. 

Before that, Babar Azam and Saim Ayub had a good start for Pakistan. However, both returned after scoring around thirty runs each. When Mohammad Rizwan retired hurt with 22 runs to his name, Pakistan had already crossed 104 runs by the 13th over. At this point, Irfan Khan and Shadab Khan took responsibility.

The swift run-scoring ability of these two batters boosted Pakistan's morale to fight back. When Shadab departed, he had scored 41 runs off 20 balls in one innings. On the other hand, Irfan remained unbeaten until the end, scoring 30 runs off 20 balls.

On the bowling side for New Zealand, Ish Sodhi took 2 wickets.
