Gazi Group in Super League, Legends of Rupganj Out of Race

Today was the final day of the league phase of the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPL) 2023-24 season. All 12 teams have completed 11 matches each. It has been confirmed today that in the Super League stage, which six teams will compete.

Gazi Group Cricketers secured their spot in the Super League by defeating City Club with a significant margin of 8 wickets in their final match.

Legends of Rupganj were keenly watching this match, hoping for Gazi Group's loss to secure their own chance in the Super League. However, fate had other plans as the DPL concluded not in favor of Mashrafe's team.

Last season Legends of Rupganj had secured their place in the Super League from the 3rd position. This time, there is only one change in the lineup for the Super League. Legends of Rupganj are out, and Shinepukur Cricket Club is in.

2. Shinepukur Cricket Club - 16 points from 11 matches
3. Mohammedan Sporting Club - 16 points from 11 matches
4. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club - 16 points from 11 matches
5. Prime Bank Cricket Club - 14 points from 11 matches
6. Gazi Group Cricketers - 14 points from 11 matches.

According to the points table, Partex Sporting Club, Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club, and Gazi Tyres Cricket Academy will have to play in the relegation league.
