ECB Includes Jacob Bethell in Central Contract List for 2024/25
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has included Jacob Bethell, who made his Test debut in the latest match, in its central contract list. Bethell's contract will last for two years.
After just one Test match, Jacob Bethell has entered the elite group alongside stars like Joe Root, Jos Buttler, and Harry Brook. Meanwhile, the ECB has extended the contracts of Jofra Archer, Matthew Potts, and Brydon Carse until 2026.
Before his Test debut against New Zealand during the ongoing tour, the 21-year-old Bethell made his white-ball debut for England in the home series against Australia in September. The rest of the central contract list remains unchanged from the previous year.
