Dhaka Capitals Ready for 2025 BPL with Strong Squad and Exciting Fixtures

Dhaka Capitals will start their 2025 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) campaign with five home games at their home ground, Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium. The team will play seven of their 12 league-stage matches across the grounds of Sylhet and Chattogram. The tournament kicks off on December 30, with Dhaka facing off against Rangpur Riders in the opening match.

The BPL season will run from December 30 to February 7, with Dhaka playing their first three matches in the capital before traveling to Sylhet for four more games. After that, they will head to Chattogram for three matches before returning to Mirpur for their final two matches of the group stage.

Dhaka Capitals Squad for 2025 BPL

The newly formed Dhaka Capitals have assembled a strong squad for the 2025 BPL. The team boasts two of the best batsmen in BPL history, Litton Das and Sabbir Rahman. Leading the pace attack will be Mustafizur Rahman, renowned for his deadly cutters. Tanjiid Hasan Tamim, a young aggressive batter, will open the batting alongside Litton Das.

Other prominent batsmen in the squad include Munim Shahriar, Habibur Rahman Sohan, and Shahadat Hossain Dipu. On the bowling front, alongside Mustafizur, Mushfiq Hasan, Mukidul Islam Mugdho, and Abu Zayed Rahi will provide strong support in the pace department.

The foreign players in Dhaka Capitals’ squad include Saim Ayub (Pakistan), Aamir Hamza Hotak (Afghanistan), Johnson Charles (West Indies), Stephen Eskinazi (England), Shahnawaz Dahani (Pakistan), and Thisara Perera (Sri Lanka). The team’s head coach for this season will be Khaled Mahmud Sujon.
