Chittagong Kings secured a thrilling victory in their first home match, defeating Khulna Tigers by 45 runs. After Graham Clark’s century, the bowlers ensured an easy win for the Kings. This victory marked their fourth consecutive win in the tournament, pushing them into the top two, surpassing Fortune Barishal.
The Sagarika gallery was filled with Chittagong supporters, and Mohammad Mithun’s team made sure to gift them a win. On Graham Clark's century day, local player Parvez Hossain Emon contributed a quick 39 runs. Despite no one playing a big innings at the end, Chittagong Kings posted a total of 200 runs on the scoreboard.
Chasing a daunting target of 201, Khulna Tigers were bowled out for 155 in 20 overs, losing 9 wickets. Darwish Rasooli was the top scorer for Khulna with 37 runs. In his BPL debut, English opener Dominic Peter Sibley managed just 3 runs off 8 balls. Another opener, Mohammad Naim Sheikh, scored 9 runs from 7 balls.
