Chattogram Division Secures Dominant 10-Wicket Victory in NCL T20 Against Dhaka
In today’s NCL T20 match, Chattogram Division achieved a comprehensive 10-wicket victory over Dhaka, demolishing them for just 60 runs. After dismissing Dhaka for a paltry total, Chattogram chased down the target effortlessly with all wickets intact, and 9 overs to spare. Fahad Hossain’s brilliant 4-wicket haul with the ball, combined with an opening partnership between Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudul Hasan Joy, sealed the victory for Chattogram.
At the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Dhaka, having lost the toss, were sent in to bat first but could not put up much resistance. They managed only 64 runs, with left-arm pacer Fahad Hossain taking 4 wickets and dismissing Dhaka before the end of their allotted overs.
In response, Chattogram made light work of the target. The opening pair of Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudul Hasan Joy led their side to victory with a commanding partnership, completing the chase with ease.
Out of Dhaka's 10 batters, only one reached double figures. Taibur Rahman top-scored with 30, while the second-highest score was just 5 runs.
