Batting collapse after a flying start for Bangladesh
In the first 11 overs, without losing any wickets, Bangladesh scored 100 runs. However, they failed to reach 150 against Zimbabwe. Despite hope for a big score, Bangladesh's batting collapsed in Mirpur.
Bangladesh made three changes in today's game. Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan, and Mustafizur Rahman came into the eleven in place of Litton Das, Mahmudullah Riyadh, and Mohammad Saifuddin, respectively.
Bangladesh received a flying start. Tanzid Hasan Tamim & Soumya Sarkar, contributed 101 runs in the opening partnership. However, the rest could only manage 42 runs collectively after that. Bangladesh was all out for 143 runs in 19.5 overs.
