Bangladesh Are Flying Start

Bangladesh has the opportunity to achieve their first-ever Test series win over Pakistan, with a potential whitewash also on the horizon. On the fourth day in Rawalpindi, Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana put Pakistan on the back foot, setting Bangladesh a target of 185 runs for victory and a series whitewash. The opening partnership of Zakir Hasan and Sadman Islam is providing a strong start for Bangladesh.

With Hasan’s 5-wicket haul, Bangladesh has a target of 185 runs. Before tea, Bangladesh had played 6 overs without losing a wicket, scoring 37 runs. Zakir Hasan continued his aggressive batting, reaching 27 runs off 21 balls before the tea break. His partner, Sadman Islam, scored 8 runs.

With 37 runs already on the board, Bangladesh needs another 148 runs to win the match, with all 10 wickets still intact.

Earlier, Hasan and Nahid dominated and dismissed Pakistan for 172 runs. Hasan completed his five-wicket haul, while Nahid Rana took 4 wickets. All 10 of Pakistan's wickets in the second innings fell to the pace bowlers.
