The upcoming Asia Cup 2025 will be broadcast live on the Sony Sports Network, with matches also available for streaming on SonyLIV. Despite having retired from international T20s last year, Bangladesh’s iconic all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan remains in the promotional spotlight for the tournament.
In a recently released promo video, Sony highlighted Shakib as “the biggest star,” showcasing a clip of him preparing with the bat. The advertisement also featured other major cricket names like India’s Shubman Gill, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, and India’s Jasprit Bumrah, while Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman appears on the cover of the campaign.
Although Shakib will not be part of Bangladesh’s playing squad, his enduring legacy keeps him visible on the global stage.
