Rangpur Riders to Open 2025 Global Super League Against Guyana on July 10

Defending champions Rangpur Riders will begin their 2025 Global Super League (GSL) campaign on the opening day of the tournament, facing host side Guyana Amazon Warriors on July 10 at the Providence Stadium in Guyana.

The GSL organizers confirmed the full schedule in an official statement. The opening day will feature two matches: Central Stags vs. Dubai Capitals, followed by Rangpur Riders vs. Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Rangpur, led by Nurul Hasan Sohan, will play their remaining league matches on July 13 against Hobart Hurricanes, July 16 versus Dubai Capitals, and their final group game on July 17 against Central Stags.

The five-team tournament will culminate with the final on July 18, where the top two teams from the league stage will battle for the title.

  • Rangpur Riders (Bangladesh Premier League)

  • Guyana Amazon Warriors (Caribbean Premier League)

  • Hobart Hurricanes (Big Bash League)

  • Central Stags (New Zealand’s Super Smash)

  • Dubai Capitals (ILT20)

This marks the second edition of the Global Super League. Rangpur Riders won the inaugural GSL title in 2024, defeating Cricket Victoria in the final. The Riders were led by Nurul Hasan Sohan, whose captaincy was widely praised, and Soumya Sarkar was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding all-round performance.

The 2025 edition will once again be hosted in Guyana, with all matches taking place at the Providence Stadium from July 10 to 18.
