Sri Lanka Wins ODI Series Against India After 27 Years
After losing the T20 series 3-0 at home against India, Sri Lanka has turned the tables by winning the ODI series. Charith Asalanka's team clinched the three-match series 2-0 by winning the last two matches, with the first match ending in a tie.

1st ODI - August 2:
The first ODI saw both teams scoring exactly 230 runs, resulting in a tie. Sri Lanka posted 230 runs, and India matched the score before being bowled out.
2nd ODI - August 4:
Sri Lanka scored 240 runs and defeated India by 32 runs.
3rd ODI - August 6:
In the final match at Colombo's R. Premadasa Stadium, Sri Lanka batted first after winning the toss and posted a score of 248/7. The opening partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando provided a solid start with 89 runs. Nissanka scored 45 runs, while Avishka Fernando scored 96 runs off 102 balls, narrowly missing a century. Kusal Mendis contributed with 59 runs.
Despite the middle-order collapse, Kamindu Mendis added a quick 23* off 19 balls to help Sri Lanka near the 250 mark.
India's Riyan Parag took 3 wickets, with Mohammad Siraj, Axar Patel, Washington Sundar, and Kuldeep Yadav taking one wicket each.
