Dhoni or Ruturaj, Deepak Chahar remains in dilemma!
There has been a change in leadership at Chennai Super Kings. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been replaced by Ruturaj Gaikwad as the captain. However, taking over Dhoni's place on the field is not easy. Dhoni's thoughts and plans are still actively involved in the cricket on the field. Ruturaj is receiving advice from this former captain. Any cricket field requires Dhoni's presence, a statement that is straightforwardly acknowledged. On the other hand, both Ruturaj and Dhoni are struggling with the burden of leadership.
Now, Ruturaj has Chennai's armband. Dhoni is assisting Ruturaj on the cricket field. Chennai's pacer Chahar is also somewhat in dilemma. Sometimes he looks towards Dhoni, sometimes towards Ruturaj.
This pacer says, "I am looking towards Mahi (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) and Ruturaj. Both of them are setting the fielding arrangements. Sometimes there is a dilemma about whom to look at now. But Ruturaj is doing quite well and leading."
Chennai is the reigning champion of the IPL, having lifted the trophy 5 times previously. They have started this tournament with high hopes as well. After winning against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match, they also secured victory in yesterday's match. They defeated Gujarat Titans convincingly with their bowling and batting. Therefore, the chances seem bright for the team in yellow jerseys. Now, the real challenge lies ahead.
