Jos Buttler is preparing to return to white-ball cricket with the upcoming tour of the West Indies. However, a decision on whether he will take up wicketkeeping duties will be made before the series begins. Leg-spinner Zafar Chohan has received his first call-up to the England squad.
The England team features three uncapped players, including Zafar Chohan from the South Asian Cricket Academy. He is the first graduate from the academy to be selected for England’s senior team and took 17 wickets in this year's Vitality Blast.
The other two uncapped players are John Turner and Dan Mousley, who were also part of the squad during the series against Australia. Harry Brook, who led England in the absence of Buttler during the Australia series, is included in the Test squad.
England will play three T20 matches and five ODIs in October and November. Jordan Cox and Jamie Smith may join the white-ball squad from the Test team that toured Pakistan.
The Caribbean tour will kick off with ODIs, with the first two matches scheduled for October 31 and November 2 in Antigua. The final ODI will take place on November 6 in Barbados. Five T20 matches are set to be played between November 9 and 17.
England limited-overs squad: Jos Buttler (capt), Jofra Archer, Jacob Bethell, Jafer Chohan, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone, Saqib Mahmood, Dan Mousley, Jamie Overton, Adil Rashid , Phil Salt, Reece Topley, John Turner
