Zimbabwe pick three uncapped players in ODI squad for Pakistan series

Zimbabwe Cricket has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming One-Day International (ODI) and T20 series against Pakistan. The first ODI match of the series will begin on Sunday at Zimbabwe's home ground in Bulawayo.

Three new faces have been included in the squad for the series against Pakistan: Trevor Gwandu, Tashinga Musakweza, and Tinotenda Maposa.

Craig Ervine will captain Zimbabwe in the ODI series. The pace attack will rely on Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngavara, while senior players like Sikandar Raza and Sean Williams will also feature in the squad. Although Sean Williams hasn’t played one-day cricket since July 2023, he has been included in the ODI squad, but not in the T20 squad.

As for the T20 series, Zimbabwe will field the same team that played in the 2026 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Qualifier. Sikandar Raza will lead the team in the T20 series.

Pakistan's tour of Zimbabwe will feature three ODIs and three T20 matches. The ODI matches will be played on November 26 and 28, while the T20 matches will be held on December 1, 3, and 5.
