India comfortably defeated Bangladesh at Green Park in Kanpur, clinching the Test series 2-0. This may well be Shakib Al Hasan's final Test match unless he returns to play in the South Africa series in Bangladesh. To commemorate Shakib’s career, Virat Kohli gifted him one of his own bats.
If Shakib's desire to play his last Test at Mirpur is unfulfilled, then the Kanpur Test will mark the end of his Test career. After the Bangladesh-India series, Shakib received a bat from cricketing superstar Virat Kohli, much to his delight.
