Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood Return to Australia’s Limited-Overs Squad for South Africa Series

Australian stars Travis Head and Josh Hazlewood are set to return to international action as they have been named in the limited-overs squads for the upcoming series against South Africa. Both players missed the recently concluded T20I series against the West Indies.

Australia swept the five-match T20I series 5-0 in the Caribbean, a tour where neither Head nor Hazlewood were selected. Alongside them, senior pacers Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins were also rested in view of a busy upcoming home season.

With Pat Cummins absent, Mitchell Marsh will continue to lead the side in both T20Is and ODIs during the South Africa series.

The series will begin on August 10 with the first two T20Is in Darwin. Cairns will host the final T20I and the first ODI, followed by two more ODIs in Mackay to conclude South Africa’s tour.
