Ahead of the new BPL season, Sylhet Titans are ready to take the field with a strong squad and a positive mindset. The team’s senior and junior players aim to deliver a cohesive performance together, targeting the championship. Every player is participating in training with high morale, and the coaching staff’s excitement is equally evident.
Sylhet Titans’ pacer Ibadat Hossain explains the team combination:"With a mix of local and foreign players, we have a very balanced team. Combining seniors and juniors, the team has a strong balance. I feel our bowling and batting are almost equal. It’s not like 60-40; I would say it’s 50-50."
On strengthening the bowling attack, Ibadat Hossain adds:He highlighted that the presence of experienced players in the bowling unit is boosting overall performance."I personally feel more confident about the bowling. Since Amir Bhai is here, along with me, Khaled, Shahidul, and Rezaur, everyone here is a performer. Alhamdulillah, our team is in a very good position. Now, Insha’Allah, if everyone performs well on the field, we will become champions."
Regarding the team’s mindset and theme, Ibadat Hossain said:He explained that the team’s theme for this season, ‘This Time We Will,’ has created a positive vibe among the players."Our theme for this season is ‘This Time We Will.’ It means our team has a positive vibe. Hearing this, I feel that we will be champions this year, Insha’Allah. We are moving forward with this theme. With Allah’s help, we will be champions this time."
On the addition of Pakistan’s experienced pacer Mohammad Amir to Sylhet Titans, Ibadat commented:"We have more to gain from Amir than to take from him. Since he has a lot of experience and has taken 400 wickets in T20 cricket, we hope he can bring that experience to our team. We expect him to give his best."
