State Minister for Youth and Sports Aminul Haque has congratulated the Bangladesh national cricket team for winning the ODI series against New Zealand with a remarkable comeback.
Despite losing the first match of the three-match series, the Tigers bounced back brilliantly to secure a 2-1 series victory. The success was confirmed with a win in the series-deciding match held in Chattogram.
In a statement, the State Minister said that achieving such a series win after trailing in the first match, for the first time in 11 years, reflects the team’s strong mentality. He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the players, coaching staff, and all concerned for creating history by defeating New Zealand with a dominant performance in Chattogram.
He also expressed hope that the team will continue this winning momentum in the future.
