After losing the T20 series 3-0 at home against India, Sri Lanka has turned the tables by winning the ODI series. Charith Asalanka's team clinched the three-match series 2-0 by winning the last two matches, with the first match ending in a tie.

The opening partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando provided a solid start with 89 runs. Nissanka scored 45 runs, while Avishka Fernando scored 96 runs off 102 balls, narrowly missing a century. Kusal Mendis contributed with 59 runs.

Despite the middle-order collapse, Kamindu Mendis added a quick 23* off 19 balls to help Sri Lanka near the 250 mark.
