South Africa has clinched a commanding 10-wicket victory over Pakistan in the second Test, completing a 2-0 series whitewash. Despite posting a large total in their second innings, Pakistan couldn’t avoid defeat after trailing significantly in the first innings.

The match took place in Cape Town, where South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first. Thanks to a remarkable 259-run innings from Ryan Rickelton, South Africa amassed a total of 615 runs. Rickelton's innings included 29 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Temba Bavuma contributed 106 runs, while Kyle Verreynne added 100 runs to the total.

For Pakistan, Salman Agha and Mohammad Abbas both claimed 3 wickets each, while Mir Hamza and Khurram Shahzad each took 2 wickets.

Pakistan's response in their first innings was disappointing, as they were bowled out for just 194 runs. Babar Azam top-scored with 58, while Mohammad Rizwan contributed 46 runs. Kagiso Rabada was the standout bowler for South Africa, taking 3 wickets, while Kewena Mafaka and Keshav Maharaj both claimed 2 wickets each.

Pakistan was forced to follow on, and in their second innings, they managed to put up a better fight. Shan Masood played a brilliant knock of 145, and Babar Azam scored 81 runs. The team eventually reached 478 runs in their second innings, with Salman Agha contributing 48 and Mohammad Rizwan scoring 41 runs.

In response, South Africa's bowlers again dominated. Kagiso Rabada took 3 wickets, Marco Jansen claimed 2 wickets, while Keshav Maharaj and Kewena Mafaka each took 3 and 1 wickets respectively.

With only a target of 58 runs remaining, South Africa reached the target with ease. David Bedingham scored 47 off 30 balls, and Aiden Markram contributed 14 off 13 balls. The victory came in just 7.1 overs.

Ryan Rickelton was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding performance with the bat.
