Shakib looks more fit: Hathurusingha
Shakib Al Hasan arrived in Lahore from the United States on Wednesday and joined the team's practice session within a few hours. Many were surprised to see a serious Shakib in the practice session. Head coach Chandika Hathurusingha has commented on the changes observed in Shakib.
The first Test will take place from August 21 to 25 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Before the match, Bangladesh’s head coach spoke with the media today. He was asked if he has noticed any changes in Shakib.
"Yes. He is batting well. He seems more fit. He has also gone through some eye tests. He mentioned that these changes are helping him focus better on his game, overcoming previous issues."
Spin-bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed praised Shakib and Mushfiqur Rahim for creating a positive atmosphere within the team. According to him, Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim have boosted the team’s morale ahead of the Test series against Pakistan. This series holds special importance for both teams as it is part of the Test Championship.
