Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will play for Asian Stars in the upcoming Asian Legends League. On March 12, Bangladesh Tigers will face off against Asian Stars, and Shakib is expected to play for the opposing team.
Shakib has signed up for the Asian Legends League, which will be held in India. However, instead of representing Bangladesh Tigers, Shakib will wear the jersey of Asian Stars. Alongside Shakib, the team will feature former cricketers from various Asian countries, including another Bangladeshi cricketer, Alok Kapali.
The first match for Shakib's team will be on March 10 against Afghanistan Pathans. Shakib and Tamim Iqbal will face off on March 12, playing for different teams.
The Asian Legends League will take place from March 10 to March 18 in Rajasthan, India. This tournament is specifically for former international cricketers who have retired from national duties. Teams from five Asian countries, including Bangladesh, will participate in the tournament.
