Left-arm pacer Saurabh Netravalkar has returned to international cricket for the USA's tour of Namibia. However, former captain Steven Taylor has been ruled out of the tour due to injury.
USA Cricket has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC CWC League-2 ODI series, which will take place from September 16 to September 26 in Namibia against the host nation and the UAE.
Saurabh Netravalkar makes a return to the USA squad for the ODI leg of the Namibia tour. He had been absent from the USA’s tour of the Netherlands last month due to personal reasons.
Netravalkar made a mark in the T20 World Cup by dismissing stars like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, earning recognition as a leading pacer for the USA. Once a Ranji Trophy player for Mumbai, Saurabh is now a full-time resident of the United States.
USA Squad for CWC League 2 ODIs:
Monank Patel (Captain), Andries Gous, Harmeet Singh, Jasdeep Singh, Juanoy Drysdale, Milind Kumar, Nosthusha Kenjige, Saiteja Mukkamalla, Smit Patel, Sushant Modani, Saurabh Netravalkar, Shayan Jahangir, Shadley Van Schalkwyk, Utkarsh Srivastava, Yasir Mohammad.
