Sabbir Rahman Joins Lanka T10 League
Another Bangladeshi cricketer is set to make his mark in the upcoming Lanka T10 League. Sabbir Rahman will play for the Hambantota Bangla Tigers in this franchise-based 10-over cricket tournament. In addition, Ronnie Talukdar has joined the Colombo Jaguars team.
In the inaugural season of the Lanka T10 Super League, after Shakib Al Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, and Ronnie Talukdar, Sabbir Rahman has also found a place in the league. Star all-rounder Shakib was directly signed by the Galle Marvels franchise before the draft. Then, Soumya was purchased by the Hambantota Bangla Tigers from the players' draft.
However, due to national team commitments, Soumya will miss this tournament. As a result, the Hambantota Bangla Tigers franchise has now added Sabbir Rahman to their squad. Sabbir confirmed his participation in the Lanka T10 via social media.
In the Hambantota team, Sabbir will have teammates like Dasun Shanaka, Iftikhar Ahmed, Hazratullah Zazai, Kusal Perera, and Mohammad Shahzad.
The tournament will begin on December 12 and conclude on December 22.
