Rawalpindi Stadium to Go Pink as PSL Champions Breast-Cancer Awareness
The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will be bathed in pink when Islamabad United meet Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League’s 30th fixture, as the league partners the global Pink Ribbon campaign to spotlight breast-cancer awareness.

On-field look:
-
Islamabad United will wear specially designed, pink-themed jerseys.
-
Karachi Kings and all match officials will sport pink caps.
-
Players, coaches, umpires and commentators will pin the Pink Ribbon throughout the match.
-
Stumps will be painted pink, and LED boards plus big screens will carry health messages.
-
PSL chief executive Salman Naseer said the league “has always taken its social-responsibility role seriously,” noting that breast cancer affects countless families and that early detection is vital.
“Just as we marked Childhood Cancer Awareness Day earlier this season, we want to play a responsible part in the fight against breast cancer,” Naseer added, encouraging spectators to wear pink in the stands.

Free screening with every ticket:
In partnership with Holy Family, Benazir Bhutto and Rawalpindi Teaching Hospitals, each ticket for Monday’s match doubles as a voucher for a free breast-cancer examination and screening.
Earlier in the season, on 3 May at Gaddafi Stadium, the PSL highlighted childhood-cancer awareness during the Quetta Gladiators–Islamabad United clash—a template the league is now following for women’s health.
