NOC Extended for Shoriful and Nahid, Set to Play One More PSL Match

Bangladesh’s two pace bowlers, Shoriful Islam and Nahid Rana, have been granted the opportunity to play one additional match in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), after the Bangladesh Cricket Board decided to extend the validity of their No Objection Certificates (NOCs).

In a decision announced on Sunday, the BCB confirmed that the NOCs of the two national team bowlers have been extended by one day, allowing them to continue their participation in the ongoing PSL. The move came following requests from their franchise Peshawar Zalmi as well as the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Previously, the NOCs for Shoriful and Nahid were valid until April 12, which meant they were scheduled to return home after that date. However, under the revised arrangement, both players will now be available to play for Peshawar Zalmi in their scheduled match on April 13.

After completing the fixture, the two pacers will return to Bangladesh on April 14 without delay. Upon their return, they will join the national team camp to begin preparations for the upcoming series against New Zealand.

The ODI series is set to begin on April 17 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The second ODI will also be held at the same venue on April 20.

The third and final match of the three-match ODI series will take place on April 23 at the Bir Sreshtho Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram. The first two matches of the T20I series will also be played at the same venue on April 27 and 29.

The teams will then return to Dhaka for the final T20I, which is scheduled to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on May 2.
