Bangladeshi pacer Nahid Rana stood out in the PSL final, playing a decisive role in Peshawar Zalmi’s victory.
With disciplined and effective bowling, he turned the momentum of the match.
After losing the toss at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Hyderabad Kingsmen failed to get a solid start with the bat.
Early wickets put them under immediate pressure.
Coming into the attack in the middle overs, Nahid Rana found his rhythm.
He dismissed Glenn Maxwell at a crucial moment, further tightening the grip on the opposition.
Maintaining excellent control in his spell, Rana picked up another wicket.
He finished with 2 wickets for just 22 runs in 4 overs, laying a strong foundation for his team.
With support from the other bowlers, Hyderabad were bowled out for 129 runs.
The target then looked quite manageable for Peshawar.
In reply, Peshawar lost early wickets but recovered through a partnership between Hardy and Samad.
Their aggressive batting steadily guided the team toward victory.
Eventually, Peshawar Zalmi secured a comfortable five-wicket win.
Nahid Rana’s impressive bowling played a key role in the triumph, helping the team lift the PSL trophy after nine years.
