New Zealand triumphed over Pakistan by 5 wickets in the final to win the prestigious Cricket Series. Pakistan, batting first, were bowled out for 242 runs, and New Zealand achieved the target in just 45.2 overs, losing 5 wickets.
The match took place at Karachi National Stadium, where Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. The home team struggled throughout their innings, losing wickets at regular intervals. Captain Mohammad Rizwan was the top scorer for Pakistan, making 46 runs, while Salman Agha contributed 45 runs.
Tayeb Tahir added 38 runs, followed by Babar Azam's 29 and Faheem Ashraf's 22 runs, bringing Pakistan’s total to 242 runs. However, they were all out with 3 balls remaining in their innings.
