In a stunning display of skill and power, Mustakim Howlader smashed 404* off 170 balls, setting a new record in Bangladesh's school cricket. The innings included 50 fours and 22 sixes, a monumental achievement that marks the first-ever 400-run knock in Bangladesh’s recognized cricket. This incredible feat was accomplished during a match in the Dhaka Division group stage of the National School Cricket tournament, and it sent shockwaves through the country's cricketing community.

Mustakim, a player from Cambrian School and College, became an instant sensation with his record-breaking performance, aiming to follow in the footsteps of his idol, Shakib Al Hasan. He dreams of becoming the world’s number one player, setting his sights on even bigger goals.

In the match against St. Gregory's School, Cambrian School & College batted first and amassed a total of 770 runs in their 50 overs. Besides Mustakim’s remarkable 404*, his teammate Sad Parvez also made a significant contribution with a double century. Parvez scored 256 runs off 124 balls, hitting 32 fours and 13 sixes. Together, Mustakim and Parvez put on an unbroken partnership of 699 runs, lifting their team to an extraordinary total.

Chasing a daunting target of 771 runs, Gregory High School was bowled out for just 32 runs. Cambrian School won the match by a massive margin of 738 runs, the highest-ever total in school cricket.
