Match Schedule of Rishads Team Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash

Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain has left the country after completing all formalities to join the Big Bash League. Long discussed as a promising T20 talent, the young spinner is finally set to make his debut in Australia’s premier franchise T20 competition.

Rishad will feature for the Hobart Hurricanes. The defending champions had included him in their squad last season as well, but he could not travel to Australia due to the absence of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the BCB. Nearly a decade later, another Bangladeshi cricketer getting an opportunity in the Big Bash is a positive sign for the country’s cricket.

This year’s Big Bash League begins on 14 December, and the Hobart Hurricanes will play their first match on 16 December. That match could mark the beginning of Rishad’s Australia chapter—one that Bangladeshi cricket fans will be eagerly following.
